do you not have the tools? It really is quite easy i ust did the struts on my Gf's car and i have done 3 lift kits in the past just follow the instructions and have plenty of tools handy. I would lend a hand but you are way too far.

Very cheap from Harbor Freight. Not sure if Autozone still rents them out.

The rear is really easy.

Start spraying that top nut with WD-40 now.

The fronts need the compressor, after you pull the shocks out.
Put the car on jack stands, unbolt the top four bolts on the strut tower. remove the two where it bolts to the a arm. take out the assembly, use the compressors to hold the coil pressure. Loosen the nut on the top that you have been pre soaking with WD-40 for as long as possible

Autozone does still rent them out, the deposit is 40. The final charge to use it is like $4, can't really beat that. Just ask for the strut compressor, it should be two separate pieces (one for each side).

I really suggest finding a friend who has an air compressor, it will cut the work time and strain 10x.

I would suggest using an impact on the top nut, for the fronts also. I just did my friends and we still couldn't get it to break, and that nut was soaking in PB for about an 1hour.

You need hex bits for 2 of the four strut tower bolts per each side as well. Its really simple, just time consuming. I helped with a swap on my buddies 2000 z28 so i dont know if its the same on all of them ( hex bits) that is. Jay

I have Done my Springs then Struts so I have had everything off twice. Takes me about a hours for the fronts. The Rears about about 30 minutes.

Its pretty simple if you have a Decent size compressor and All the air tools you can need. Shoot I have the spring compressors two. Its what happens when your dad was a mechanic for +25 years.
