Default Well my 02 finally broke

after having the car for more than a year now ive never heard of or owned an f body to be absolutely trouble free. from the clutch to the engine to the differential, well the day has finally come

my tranny mount finally broke in 2

just knocking on wood nothing else happens.

23 dollars and 15 mintues later its fixed.

raced a cayman s to 155+mph, then got off the freeway and the tranny was knocking, i get it up on the rack at work and sure enought, the stock mount met its match

lol...my cars been pretty good, other than the antenna and window motors and the stock clutch not liking drag radials I havent broken anything...the again ive replaced alot of it

Yeah my car's been great for the most part besides the ICM (twice), two coils, the camshaft position sensor, the MAF, the ashtray lid, the power antenna, the LCD backlight on my radio, the corroded taillight reflector, and the drivers side window motor (twice, needs to be replaced AGAIN), not to mention the normal close-interval replacement items like brakes, plugs, wires, O2 sensors, headlights, taillights, blinker fluid, etc...

yes the energy suspension piece you can get at auto zone, it works the best imo

Very good. When you do your headers, make sure to go with poly motor mounts too.

nah, thats a mustang thing man, their is nothing wrong with my stock mounts, i like a smoother ride, vibrations and resoncance drive me crazy,

I've installed poly motor mounts on two cars during header installs, and there where no extra vibrations whatsoever. Plus, if you go cammed one day, it will stop the engine from rocking like crazy once the rubber mounts become aged...just ask Jose.

yea i wished we taped it how crazy my motor was rocking before the motor mounts and after... **** looked nasty! there isn't really any other extra vibrations either, feels the same
