How's this price for a used LS1? Apparently my dad's friend wrecked a car with an LS1...the motor was untouched. I don't know much about it now, but I will hopefully this week. He's asking $800 for the motor. Is this a good price if the motor is in decent shape? I'd love to swap one into my Monte.

if it comes with the pcm and under 100,000 miles 800$ seems like a steel but if there a tons of miles on it or its worn out or only include the motor id try to knock him down id go over to the car hear it run and ask if he the friend minds if you do a leak down test
