Default should i trade???

im thinking about trading my 2000 camaro ss 6 speed with 80,000 miles in good shape for this imaculate 1999 ram quad cab with 101,000 miles plus 1500 cash coming my way. whats everyone thing of this trade? the car is loaded, plus c5 zo6 rims magnaflow, needs back tires and has scratches here and there. the truck is pretty much perfect 6 inch lift and 37 inch new tires and 20 inch chrome rims plus 2 10 inch subs.

I believe that if the truck was a diesel it would be a hell of a lot more appealing. I just dont trust those gas motors in the dodge pickups.

The gas engines aren't bad aside from being underpowered and getting poor gas mileage. From a reliability aspect, they're fine. It's the transmission Dodge uses especially in the 1500 series. I wouldn't personally do it but not a terrible trade though.

I bet with those heavy wheels/tires that thing gets single digit fuel mileage...It's all in what you want.... Does look clean though...

Find out if / when the tranny was rebuilt...if it has not i'd pass on the deal. With 100k its only a matter of time before the tranny goes.

Diesel trucks do...

I wouldn't trade unless it was a diesel which it's not. It's a nice truck but meh.. Maybe a new style I would consider the trade but not that one.

I wouldn't trade my F-body/muscle car for a truck even if God himself created it and made it perfect...

I just don't see how someone goes from a ***** to the wall, 0 to 60 in less than 6, styled to impress muscle car to a big dumb gun rack toting truck, unless it was work related or something, but then I'd just get another job.

I mean it's a "truck" for chirssakes. I wouldn't mind owning one, don't get me wrong, but to give up sexual speed for one? Never...
