98 firebird converted 99 trans am
The car originally was a 98 Firebird v6 3.8L Auto. In Jan. of last year I did a LS1 swap into the car. I bought a donor LS1/T56 car and swapped EVERYTHING over.
The good:
-It has the Trans AM body panels minus the front bumper. (Hatch, rear bumper, sideskirts)
-Stainless steel 3" magnaflow exhaust ($600)
-18" Chrome c6 rims w/ ALOT of tread left on brand new tires (over $1000 on both)
-SLP lid and smooth bellow ($160)
-UMI Suspension ($200)
-Entire car was sanded and painted with a rust prevention paint
The bad:
-Small oil leak (I replaced the gasket before I installed the LS1)
-Rad fluid leak
-Bent rear axel
-Needs painted or major detail (black)
Please excuse the poor pics, Best I have ATM. Come see it for yourself!
I am looking to get around $5000 OBO for it considering I have well over that in the car and the swap alone. not even considering the parts I bought for it.
most of the problems can be fixed cheap. Only the paint job would be costly!
