Default 1998 Trans Am, $6500 sound good?

I'm looking to buy a white 98 Trans Am with 97k miles. It's got T-tops, good condition leather interior, and an auto trans. It's pretty much stock except for intake and catback. You think $6,500 is a good deal?

Depends what it needs. Tires? Brakes? Fluid changes? Everything work OK like windows, headlights, etc..?? Your $6500 car could end up in the $8,000-$9,000 range real quick. Selling a 100k miles car won't bring you anything close to that so be careful unless you plan on keeping it for many years.

As far as I know everything is in good working order, I haven't seen the car in person yet but I will be sure to check everything mentioned when I do. If the car is in good condition and doesn't need much of anything other than an oil chnage, does the price seem fair?

Yes, always offer less though, like $6,000 because there is always something coming up when a car hits 100k. Hope it works out for you but move on if it needs too much.
