Default Possible buy, whats it worth

'98 black trans am(ram air hood) 155,000 miles ,6spd ,ls1.
Havent viewed because its 150miles away, considering it though. its priced at 7500 and i had a friend offer 5500 and he said 6200. Wondering, if its in good condition with no scratches, rippes or problems whats it worth? thinking with high mileage and the possibility of a mature owner who doesent beat on his car it might be worth 6000.. feedback please, questions i can answer i will. Dont know much yet about it, just the basics.

Thanks considering taking the trip this weekend, so id appreciate the responses fairly quick

Man, the odds of that car not being beat on (at least a little) are slim to none. 155,000 is waaayyyy up there in miles for and asking price of 7500 bucks IMO. Look at KBB and see what its worth first, but I wouldn't buy it.

Thanks for the input guys, i didnt go through to check it out.. Everytime i see a 4th gen i know its been beat on, but when they dont say anything about it being fast and fun is when i really look at the description. Might be picking up a camaro ss pretty soon.
