Default MBM 1999 TA M6 116k miles

I found a medium blue metalic '99 TA for sale for what seems like a decent price. It has 116k miles and looks like it needs a little TLC, but its supposed to run out nice and the body in good shape. Tires are at 50% on stock chrome 16's, and a wear mark on the driver side bolster (tan leather). From the pics it looks like it needs a good deep cleaning to get it up to my standards, but it has potential. It is a mostly stock dd. What do you think is a fair price for this car? The main reason I'm interested is because of the rare color. Thanks!

The color is the main reason I'm interested. The only thing is the seller is a jackass and won't offer up enough details for me to feel comfortable buying a plane ticket and expecting to drive the car home 650 miles. He's firm on $5,500, which I'm pretty sure is reasonable, but its rough enough that I would have to check the car out in person to make sure its worth it... and that just isn't going to happen. I probably won't end up with the car.

Any seller that doesn't give you the info you need is a bad seller. Don't even bother. Too many nice cars out there if you are willing to travel.
