Default How much more are CETAs worth than the same year WS6?

A guy is selling a CETA 6-speed with 90k miles for $12k. is this a good deal?

Well its OBO too so I could probably knock him down another grand. Do these things carry a premium over even a WS6? Personally I cant say im crazy about the looks but if I can get it cheap enough I dont care.

how clean is it? i wouldnt pay anymore for it than any other ls1 fbody but thats just me.

mileage isnt terrible but im sure its been exercised a little.

I would look at it and see if you like it. But to me that still seems kind of high for how the value of these cars have dropped in recent years. And although its a CETA and rare and considered more of a special collector model to me with that kind of millage it loses its "special collector" status and would be more like a normal WS6 to me. Same thing with guys with high milage SS or WS6 models trying to get a ton more because there a WS6 or SS. I would much rather take a lower priced and lower miles Z/28 or Trans Am since its the same car.

Sounds like a good deal, but it's only worth what someone would pay for it.

BINGO!! No collector value with 90,000 miles. Treat it as a regular T/A when pricing because when it comes time to sell no one will give you extra.
