My car is a 1996 TA M6 with 39k miles. There is nothing wrong with the car except there is a couple scuff marks on one of the wheels. other then that it is perfect. No mods, and I just replaced all the gaskets, and had the plugs and wires changed and flushed all the fluids including the rear end. The car was in a garage and driven around the block for almost 10 years. Ohhh new tires too. So?!?! Whats it worth?

$6000 - $6500 shouldn't be a problem. Maybe another $500 if you find the right buyer.

I agree. Definitely ask higher but you probably will have to settle in this area.
The great unknown is what if someone is looking for a clean unmolested LT1 T/A?? Perhaps someone that sold one, for whatever reason, and would love to have that same car back again. Not too many nice ones are left, especially with an M6. That certain buyer may pay a top asking price that you initially offer, like $8,000 or $9,000. If you don't try, it could never happen.

Thanks! Think im going to hold on to it, and stick it in the garage for the next 30 years. Perhaps it will be worth something then. lol!

If you actually did that, yes it would be worth a nice chunk of change. Right now, the collector value is at the low ebb of the pricing curb, and will be for at least the next 10 years or so. After that the price will start rising for the nice low mileage examples that still exist.
