Question Should i buy this camaro z28???

Ok so there is this camaro on this online auction .. Another company owns it and its through the internet so i havent seen it in person.. On the side of the top of the window, there are three guages coming down..

what does this mean? does it mean the camaro is boosted? they want $4,500 for it. It is a 2001 z28 a4 with 84k miles. and please dont say dont buy on the internet because i have bought lots of cars online

I won't say what you don't want to hear... so to answer what you're asking it doesn't mean the car is boosted. Yes people who boost usually will have extra gauges in their car to monitor boost, afr, tranny temps, etc. But I have seen plenty of cars that have gauges and are NA.

Not to thread hijack, but I'm curious how many cars you've purchased online? and have you purchased from this place before?

The gauges don't mean anything. It's a common mod to put gauge pods on the pillar. They could be any kind of gauges; not just a boost gauge.

As for price, it sounds fair if not low; but all that matters is what the car is worth to YOU.

$4500 is low. If it's an auction, I'm assuming that is just where the bidding is right now.$7500 would be a normal asking price for an 01 with that type of mileage. $6500-7000 would be a solid sell price. Are you sure the car has a clean title? Buying a car online is only a good idea if you are absolutely certain you are dealing with a reputable company or person. You can buy 100 good cars online and still get burned by a bad one. If it's a clean car for $4500, it's definitely a buy.

I'll keep this simple. If you can't get the answers you need (guessing is silly) then don't buy the car. If a deal is too good to be true......
