Default Low Mileage 2002 Trans am Firehawk

I'm looking at another firehawk as well, its a 2002 Navy Blue Metallic 6 speed car, its got 45k miles on it, bone stock condition with factory bilstein suspension, 1 owner car, very well maintained car, inside is very clean, outside is decent 8.5/10, black interior, tires are decent, however it has 1 accident on record to the quarter panel and door region, supposedly it was professionally fixed and you could never tell it had even happened.

How much should i be looking to spend on this low mileage firehawk with an accident history? or is it not even worth my time?

Check to see what other ws6's and trans am's are going for in your area and use that to help you. Firehawks aren't everywhere so it's going to cost a little more than a ws6. If I could buy that car for around $13K I would be happy, but I'm sure they would be asking more than that. If your not bugged by the accident then shoot the seller an offer. Would you be just as happy with a ws6 or trans am instead of a firehawk? I would only try to buy it if you really want a firehawk or just pass and save some money on a nice ws6 for a few thousand less.

A black firehawk with about 88k miles on it sold in my area for $9K as any example.

But accident free firehawks I have seen with miles like that go for $16-18K

Yeah, the accident is a negative but the mileage is sweet! Pay right up to $14,000 - $15,000 if you absolutely love the car but not more than that. Once you start getting closer to $20,000 you are in territory for near MINT 10,000 mile T/A's with no stories.

Something is seriously amiss there. It doesn't even make sense. Trade-in pricing for a regular WS6, not a Firehawk, is around $10,000 - $11,000 with those low miles. A Firehawk trade-in is even higher. Why would it sell for $7,000?? There is more to this than you know. You sure the title was 'clean'?? That certainly would explain it if there was an issue.

I don't know if it was clean title or not, all he said was that it was wrecked in the quarter area and fixed. I guess a salvage is the only way to explain the price though
