I was just looking around and ran across this car. It all looks good the only thing that would concern me is the high mileage that is on the car. How good are the ls1's holding up at this high of mileage? Should i be worried about the transmission and rear end as well? Say it all goes bad what am I looking at in prices for a new engine/trans/rear end?
I want to build this car but is it worth even modding at high mileage or just buying/ rebuilding the trans and engine when/if it goes the best way.

Looks like a really clean and upkept car. If you're seriously interested I'd at least go and check it out in person. Even at $5500, it's not a bad price but I'm sure there is room for negotiation.
