2000 T/A w/ WS6 hood, only 44k miles. Better as built TH400 or T56?
Here's the details: I just bought this car from a friend of mine that's getting divorced sadly. The car only has 44k miles on it. It was originally a 6-speed car, but he traded the 6-speed for a built TH400 with a trans brake a couple months ago. The car is NBM with an aftermarket WS6 hood. It has a Torque V2 cam, ported/polished factory heads, double valve springs, TR 7.400 hardened pushrods, full exhaust with cutout, welded in subframe connectors, 4.10 Richmond gears, LS6 intake.
The bad: The bolster on the driver's seat is worn because he wouldn't listen to me and would.always slide down the bolster when getting in. Secondly, someone backed into him at a parking lot and cracked the front bumper, just barely got the tip of the right fender, busted the headlight and turn signal. Since it was a hit and run, he didn't bother turning it in to the insurance because his deductible was more than the damage. Other than this stuff, the car is really nice. I'm going to fix it, sell it, and give him some more money once the dust has cleared in his personal life.
The dilemma: I have an extra T-56 setup and I was debating what would sell quicker and for.more? The car went 11.69 with the 6-speed and 11.46 with the TH400/Trans brake. Also, he put a NOS kit on the car that he bought used and never got a bottle or bottle brackets to complete it. Should I hook up the NOS kit and have it tuned in, or just take the kit off?
How should the car be sold and at what price?

As far as pricing, use KBB (in your zip code) in this situation. A fair or good condition 'private party' price is up to you.

Thanks for the responses and if I do anything performance wise to the.car, it will only be to remove the NOS kit and swap the TH400 out and put the 6-speed in. And the previous damage WILL be disclosed with pics posted. It's so minimal, that it shouldn't effect the value any once fixed.

This is also provided the car is in decent running condition after all the work and mods. If any issues, then that price may be too high. All you can do is try. GLWS!
