01 Z28 6 speed w/ 72,000 miles - whats it worth I have a nice 01 blue z28 with tan leather and ttops. It is a 6 speed car and has 72000 miles on it. It has a OEM SLP SS hood on it, slp lid, decent tires. What is it worth. I can get 8000 for it but my buddies are sayting im selling it to cheap. Is that a good price or should i hold out for a little more. Let me know what you guys think. THanks

No, it is not too cheap. Your friends are paying you a nice compliment but they are out of touch with real world 'private party' sales pricing. Perhaps they are thinking 'retail' at a dealership where they would ask a higher price. It's not the same situation. If you actually have a buyer at $8,000 I would NOT turn it down if you want to sell. The most you could possibly ask in an ad would be about $9,000 for a 'good condition' slightly modded Z28 with those 72k miles. You would then probably negotiate down into that $8,000 area anyway. You also are selling at a poor time of year (holidays) which would be another reason to grab the $8,000. GLWS!!
