Default 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with rebuilt yet noisy rear end....

I've owned my 2002 Z28 since March 2007, Sebring Silver, auto with black leather, T-tops, SLP air lid, Magnaflow catback, BMR 1.25" lowering springs, Koni Shocks, 17x9.5 and 17x11 ZR1 replicas with Nitto NT05 tires. It has approximately 124,000 miles with a new (read: less than 50,000 mile) LS1 engine installed at 88,000 miles due to water ingestion in a downpour. I'm looking to sell the car and have a ballpark figure on how much it is worth to me to sell but the main issue is that I had the 10 bolt rear end rebuilt with Motive 3.73 gears and they have turned out the be quite noisy. To my understanding there are two different part numbers for the gears, one kind is just a harder compound and is noisier than the other. What I'm getting at is should I take into account the gear noise in my final asking price? I just don't want someone to test drive and think that the rear end is on it's way out when in fact it is most likely "somewhat" normal for them to be noisy. The car is otherwise in pretty good shape for the mileage. Would $5500-$6000 be a fair asking price?

A super noisy rear end would be a real turn off for me. If it was me and I was interested in the car, I would definitely include that as a negotiating point when trying to make a deal.
