98 formula with almost 90k. Trans slips in 2nd when getting on it. Body has some dings and dents, paint needs work in some areas. Just curious as to what to pay. Might put an offer on it.

Let's say the Formula is in 'fair condition' with the issues you describe. Book value will be about $3,500 for a car with this mileage. I'd throw an offer a bit lower than that so you could have some $$ to fix things up. An offer of $2,500, $3,000, you decide. You don't want to have too much tied up in it after all is said and done. The book value will still be about the same. Good luck!
