Default 1999 Hugger Orange SS

This is killing me to post...but I need to see what the car is worth as a whole cause I REALLY do not want to part out a Hugger car.

Car has a CLEAN and CLEAR TITLE!

1999 Hugger Orange SS #1747 miles is 161K,Hard top,6spd,leather. Car caught fire and the fire was contained to just the engine bay, everything from the windshield back is good, however everything under the hood is toast.

The Good: Car has a fully built 10 bolt with moser axels and 373's, brand new monster lvl 1 clutch, new GM slave, new Flywheel, new Tick Master Cylinder, all the clutch parts have 500 miles on them. Car has Trans AM front Seats. Corsa Cat backback exhaust. has a short throw shifter, Subframe connectors and BMR Relocation Brackets. The stock Chrome ZR1's on the back were widen to 11" and had 315 Nitto drags with about 70% Tread. Front ZR1's are stock and in good shape. I also have the original Orange back Sail Panel with the SS badging.

The Bad: Everything under the hood needs replaced. Front fenders, hood, front bumper, headlights, basically everything from the windshield forward needs rebuilt.

The car has not been cleaned up in the pictures, the wheels shine up perfectly. the last picture is what the car looks like cleaned up. This could be a good way for someone to get into a original Hugger Orange SS.

IMO, it's a 'parts car' only. Too many miles to start investing good $$$ even though it's a HOSS.
As I always have stated over the years though, you never know who is looking at any given time. Give an ad a try at a price that you can accept and see if you get any bites.

I appreciate the input my friend, I would keep it and make it a ten year project rather than parting her out. I just love the car to much for that to happen. Plus I know whats done to the car, has new suspension, and lowered so its just too much to waste.

You obviously have an emotional attachment to the car but you need to look at this objectively: that car is 17+ years old with 161k miles on it and a burned up front end. And even though you are claiming a clean title, it really should NOT be.

The best thing you can do is put it up for sale and see what happens. As stated above, you never know who is looking for what at any given time.

I agree. The front end burning up negates anything to do with the HO premium. It's now in the bottom 1% of all surviving HO cars. I'd part it out and move on, unless you can find someone who will pay what you want for it as is. If turning it into a 10 yr project makes you feel good, then do that. In my mind, concealing the fire following complete repairs wouldn't be ethical. There might be some HO cars out there that need nice, orig paint, un-dented body panels.

As of right now, I have decided to fix her up myself. I appreciate everyone input. I'm just not ready to give up on her. She will live again, but this time with a 408
