I have a question for those of you who own Convo Pros, or any Centerline wheel that uses a shank style lug nut.
What is the diameter of the hole for the lug nut?
I just received my new ET Streets to put on my Convo Pros. I removed one of the rear tires and mount the wheel/tire setup only to notice that the centerline lugnuts I purchased will not work with them. The lugs are .680" round, while the hole on the wheel has enough clearance for the stock 7/16" (~.500") stud. The wheels were modified to accept only stock lugnuts, so I try it. But the surface of the conical edge was not heat treated, so the lug is mushrooming the conical edge. Which results in not getting the wheels torqued down right. I am going to try and find a local wheel repair shop that can fix this mess and ensure the wheel lig holes are concentric to the axle centerline.
I would like to have these wheels ready by Nov. 22nd, that is the date of a local track rental. I want to see what this F13 will do in my setup.
