Default Which tire...?

Okay i'm sure this has been posted so many times but...

I'm getting some 17x11 wheels and need opinions and advise on which 315 tire brand is best?

So far all i've gotten is the Nitto 555R's... but the thing holding me back is they tend to look skinny...

Any other good alternatives?

This is a daily driver, and also bone stock Trans Am 01', the car has stock suspension.

That brings me to my last thing, which is the safest when it comes to rolling the fenders? I've heard some people tell me i'll be fine if i stay stock suspension and power with 315's but ya w/e you tell me..

from what everybody told me bout the 315's is that the nittos would be the best bet as far as daily driving and tread life compared to the other brands. plus i hear the nitto 315 u wont have any rubbing or fitment issues.

With 315s, what you gain in traction you lose due to the extra weight. 1lb of rotational mass (wheels) is like 7lbs anywhere else on the car.

If you're going for looks, get 17x11 wheels and whatever tires you can find in 315/35/17 (which is very limited at the moment). Goodyear makes the F1 GSD3, but they were on backorder last time I heard. It's a great all-around tire, if you can get it.

If you're more worried about performance, get 17x9.5 all around, buy 275/40/17s and be done with it.
