Default hoosier drag radial issue

I just picked up a brand new set of hoosiers and after a week noticed a line that goes through the center of the hoosier. It almost looks like a crack. Anyone had an issues before with hoosier drag radials cracking. Anyone know if they date stamp there tires or anythign so i can find out how old they were etc

should have a DOT code on the tire. Should be a mix of numbers and letters and the last 4 digits will tell you when they are made.... EX 3407 would mean they were made in the 34th week of 2007
