Default What and how? rims..

http://www.wheels.ls1tech.com/galler...m&g2_itemId=61

Have those rim's been chromed? Or is that polished?

I was curious to see if anyone had pictures of fully chromed TTII's as they are not supplied like that and have to be customly done...

Also if these are polished how in the hell did he get them to look like that? I've tried alot of things and never got my polished stock rims to shine like that..

I've heard of someone getting a set of TT2's chromed, but those appear to be polished. My old set were just as shinny as those. It just takes some effort and you have to keep them constantly clean.

Also your factory wheels, granted polished, have a clear coat on them. So unless the clear is removed you can't polished them.

i take it thats why my stock rims have that hazy look to it?

Hmm maybe thats why i thought everyone who said that powerball was a miracle worker... were a little off.. lol that means i busted my a$$ off on my stock rims last night with the powerball and wasn't getting anything done.

For future reference, one way to know if the wheel is polished. When you apply a little dab of polish to the wheel and work it in, it will turn black.
