Default I just can't get lucky - bought some rims off ebay, comes with a chip, actoin???

So I bought these rims off ebay, came with foam around the rim, yet somehow, OF COURSE there's a dent.

What do you think? Of course I'm going to email these pics to the seller, however I want to know if I'm just being WAY to **** about it or not?

.......they even had a nice foam thing around the lip and there's a HOLE in the foam lip from SOMEthing...

if you bought them brand new and they were advertised that way then there should be no problem returning them. If you bought them used and the seller said there were no flaws then you have a problem...

here's the auction.

They talk about returns, but I don't see anything about DEFECTS or damage done during shipping.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=290267465815

You guys wouldn't accept this on something you just spent 450+ on right?

that is something that will hve to be taken up with the carrier then...
you'll most likely have to file a damage claim...

If it was damaged in shipping I would just talk to the seller and see if you can get a few bucks back on shipping maybe or talk to the shipper about getting a refund on shipping costs. As for replacing or fixing it, I don't think I would bother as it will get more damage than that just from driving. Plus the tire should cover most of it up.

ahhh, the plot thickens. I doubt it's a UPS problem, considering I bought the same wheels from the same eBay seller and had mine show up with the foam ring around the lip but one still had the same nick yours did. Mine was mostly on the top of the lip, and I figured once the tire was mounted, it would barely be visible, and not worth the trouble of sending it back. I was right.
