Default Worth the price? 19" 295 BFG KDW's for C6 wheels?

I had oem C6 wheels put on my car and I threw some Kuhmo Ecsta 285/35/19 on the rear. My car just absolutely blows them off through 1st and most of second. The only other tire they make in this size is the BFG KDW and the widest the make it is in a 295. Only problem, almost #65 bucks per tire. So do you guys think i would make up much traction by going from my 285 kumhos to a 295 bfg kdw?

I've got 275/30/19's, put down 385 RWHP and I spin through 1st, 2nd, and part of 3rd...I know guys with less power than I've got with 285/35/18's and they've got the same story. The problem is the sidewall...there's just not enough of it in 30 and 35 series tires on the 18" and 19" rims that will fit our cars to get the power down.

I doubt going from a 285 to 295 on a 19" rim will improve things much. If you want your good traction back, you'd have to drop back down to a 17" rim at the largest IMO.
