Default I just got my Goodyear GS-D3's

I haven't put them on yet and I won't be putting them on until I install my new clutch, but I was wondering what PSI is best for DD. It says max is 51PSI.

Just because the side wall say, 51 max, it does not elude to the psi to run the tire with.

Typically you should follow the tire pressure recommendations in the door jam, or owners maual of the car.

Thanks for the replies everyone. My SS is not a daily driver so I'm not really worried that they wear out fast.

They won't wear out fast unless you are doing daily burnouts, drifting and or not running the correct pressures. Believe that.

What exactly would be the "correct" pressure for these tires?

I have used 34 psi for the past few years. So that is the correct pressure for me.

gm recommends 30 psi front and rear for normal driving and 35 front and rear for sustained high speed driving. (100+ mph) i personally run my radials at 33 front and 28 rear. its gives me the most even wear.

I run mt tire at 30 psi cold cuz that's what the door jam said. It's a little high from what the wear show so for my next set of tires I may drop it to 28 or so.

I try to run them at 32 both front and rear. My fronts lasted about 30,000 miles...the rears, not so much

I just got my tires installed on 11/6/08 and they look f*ckin SICK!!! I'm currently running 34psi on all fours. You think I should drop the psi? I'll snap some pics hopefully sometime today in the afternoon.

The tread pattern does look pretty ******* sick on the GS-D3s...enjoy your high performance tire! They sure can hold a corner quite well.
