Default Which wheels for my 1988 IROC-Z?
I have a 1988 IROC and I can't decide if I want to restore the stock 16 inch rims or get SLP's hyperblack 17 inch rims. I believe the tire width would both be 245 so that doesn't matter. Thats about as wide as I can go for the set up I am planning involving about a 400+ horsepower motor anyway. So what do you guys think sounds the best. The 16's or the 17's?

17's and also Y2K wheels look good on 3rd Gens IMO....

naw...I wanna keep them stock, repainted, repolished, and reclear coated. Plus, chrome is heavier.

as you already know i owned the slps and loved them but my favorite wheels on 3rd gen camaros is ROH Snypers. you can also get them in several sizes so you could easy run a 275 out back

this is not the best pic around... somewhere i have a picture of an iroc lowered on them...

Yeah but see my IROC is 1 of 75 in 1988 made that year with a Borg warner rearend so I want to keep it as original as possible. I guess I'm the only one who likes the stock rims. looks unanimous.

Damn you guys are really pulling me in the direction I didn't want to go! The ZR1's would look really good considering I'm gonna put a SS hood on it I had a SS hood on my RS and thats when I feel in love with those hoods.

I'm glad someone agrees with me. one of my favorite cars would be an lsx/t56 powered 3rd gen camaro with a hawks spoiler, flat rs hood, z28 grill,91-92 ground effects, and roh snypers...

anyway, i will try to post another pic of the synpers on a camaro
