Default i <3 my nittos

ok, ever since i have bought my ws6, its had nitto nt555r DR's on em... and when i needed new tires, i put nittos on em... and i always wondered what it would be like withOUT nittos... well financial difficulties arose and i needed a set NOW, cuz my current nittos were basicaly slicks. i am going to buy new rims within the next 2 months, and plan on putting 315 nittos on the rear...however; i needed tires NOW... so i found a set of 2 bf goodwrench T/A KD(i have no idea wtf these are) for $50(used) and jumped on em quick. well i tossed the nittos yesterday and put the bf's on there.. i always hear ppl complaining that they are spinning or have no grip, but with my nittos i never had that problem,(only from a dig sometimes) from a 20 roll, it gripped so hard, i would slam into the seat. well with these new, "normal" tires, i was like ok, lets see what the world is like NOT on DR's. and omg WOW... let mejust go ahead andsay, i will never buy a normal tire again, from a freaking 20 roll, i spin all the way through 1st, and heaven knows if i shift hard, 2nd is gonig to behell too... ne ways this is a very long post for a very short message.

**IF YOU BITCH ABOUT GRIP, SPEND A BIT OF MONEY, AND GET YOU SOME NITTOS!!!!(OR MT's W/E)

I have the same problem with the Nitto D/R's. Way better than stock tires, But not so good at the track (2.15 60 ft ) is there a better D/R out there?

its hard to say that they are good when you really havent had that much to compare them to. They WILL spin when compared to M/T's or hoosiers, but they arent designed to be in the same league as those guys either. Why? because they have AMAZING tread life compared to those two. There was a post by a guy with Hoosiers a while back who said that just leaving from a stop light at daily driver speeds he would leave feint black stripes.

i agree wiht the OP that when you consider treadwear, these are perfect DR's for the street. mines a daily driver and ill get some soon. but if you go to the track fairly often, id get one of the other guys.
