Default Which tire

I've narrowed it down to those three and they will be on the rear.
Firehawk wide oval 275/40/17
BF Good G-force sport 275/40/17
Nitto 285/40/17

Thanks for your opinion

The DRs would be ok for a DD, but they wear pretty damn fast. I vote for the Nitto in 285. Ive run them before, and they are a decent tire, that last a while IMHO.

I have around 12k on my nittos and they are done, I would consider them a cross between a true dr and a street tire

my .02

If you just have basic bolt ons or stock then the Nittos should be good or look into the General Exclaims UHP - great tire for the money! If your more heavily modded, 555r or BFG KDW2

I am not sure what type of power you're making, but I would not recommend the Firehawks. I had them and was NOT happy with them as far as performance goes. Fine in the rain and cruising, other than that...

Default Picked the Nitto 555

Tires awesome went with the 285 I measured a 1" gain in contact patch over my futuro?. My surprised me the most is the ride and cornering got much noticable better.

The price of $301.00 out the door rocked!!!

Default Why Nitto

The Nitto is the only company that recommended their tire at 285/40/17 for 9" rim. Since my car has stock speedlines it is the biggest tire I can run.
