I drive mine around on the street on a friday/saturday night if im going out looking for some action, but like every one said better check the weather forecast, and be more careful taking corners espcially if your running skinnies up front too.

I drove mine A LOT but like everyone else says, realize the obvious. Don't get caught in rain, and turn slow, they have thin sidewalls. They will feel weird driving, but you will get used to it.

Got caught in a freak rainstorm last summer with my ET streets. Gave a little gas to catch up to traffic cause i was going 20mph. They broke loose and pointed me straight into oncoming traffic. I literally drifted through the oncoming lane in between cars and onto their shoulder, then back through oncoming traffic and into my own lane again. I got home and changed my tires (and my pants).

There is a reason they aren't road legal, I'm happy that tacklebox made it through without hurting himself or others and that he swapped after. But if somebody hit me or my friends/family because they were driving on a tire they knew wasn't legal for the road and it's conditions, if they weren't dead after, I'd kill them.

I hope you know that not all DOT tires are legal for street use. We have cops in the area that pull people over with them on and guys have lost in court fighting the tickets.

I do know that. The M/T ET Street's are DOT approved for street use though. Hoosiers DOT tires are not legal for highway use, and say so. I find that hard to believe. As a law student myself, I can't see why a police officer would try to aruge a tire that clearly states "DOT approved" If I were to get a ticket for running a legal tire, I'd for sure fight it.
