Default Ruff 278's, A quality wheel?/VQ Motoring

I've done some searching and like the chrome Ruff 278's. They seem quire reasonable pricewize but was wondering those who have them how they feel about the quality? I was looking at the 18's and would use both for street and road course (LimeRock). VQ Motoring is the only source and their rating by the BBB is a "D" which gives some concern. Any experiences here appreciated. Thanks

I love the Ruff 278's. They look great. I have no idea how good they perform on a road course or anything, but that's more of a tire thing.

I got mine from them about a year ago. Seemed to be fine to deal with. No problems here. For the price I think they are a quality wheel. There're no CCW.

i'd like to know this as well. i think i'm going to get the 18'' 278's in hyperblack(more of a gunmetal) for my pewter SS. if some of you guys could post up some pictures, that'd be cool too because i'm having a hard time finding many people that have them.

The only problem I hear a lot of people have, is some of the rivets falling off.

I would also love to get these rims but that offset is the only thing holding me back....

I had them ordered from VQ and would never deal with them again. Took forever to answer my questions, got charged 75 more than I was quoted and they wouldnt do anything about it. I ended up canceling the order and got charged a 15% restocking fee for wheels I never saw.

Wow. I guess that's why they are rated as a "D"!

That interesting, they must have went in the toilet after I got mine. I got fast shipping, charged what I was quoted, was able to talk to the guy everytime I called and they even shipped out an extra set of hubcentric rings for free.

My mistake I meant the bolt pattern. The bolt pattern for our cars is 120.65 and the 278's are only 120

the difference between 120 and 120.65 is very small. the 120's will fit our cars with no problem. i have ordered from VQ too with the Ruff R931 and have no problems with them.

i never had a problem with fitment except the hubcentric rings didnt fit but the rim just slid on no problems. i got them about a month after i ordered them off of ebay like they said. i actually think their customer service was pretty good. i love the lip on mine also
