Default Any 17" skinnys out there

Im thinking of having my WS6 front rims narrowed to 4-1/2",does any one make a skinny 17" tire, I have my rears widened to 11" with Hoosiers DR-335/35/17. I know i can buy aftermarket rims in 15" but i want to keep my 17's if possible

M&H tires are very nice tires. Actually, if you look closely, the wheel that the tire is mounted on is one of our Bogart prototype drag wheels. 4.5" is a good width.

I don't think you're wheel will look very good narrowed. It's up to you. They are probably going to only cut the inner hoop so I don't know how much you have to work with regarding having the wheel still tuck under the fender area.

I could go with the Hoosiers they require a 5"to 6" rim. As for looks the tire will set out just like factory ,They remove the the inside lip and move toward the center. They dont remove the center it self ,they cut the inner lip about 2"in, and then remove up to the inside edge of the spoke then add the 2" piece that they cut off ,I think the WS6 rims has a 1-1/2"to 2" offset, I cant really remember. If its 2" offset the tire would be centered in the rim. for a 4" rim. and for a 6" rim they would first cut 4" from the inside lip.and remove excess to achieve the total of 6" added to the 2" offset.

Is your rim off set from the (out side to the center) the same as the factory rims.

Weld makes a 17x4.5 front runner in either the Alumistar or Magnum designs. Have munted up the Hoosier tire on this rim, it is a good looking setup, I have not actually seen the M&H tire but have heard it is nice.

The ws6 wheels are a tapered barrel rim, I do not think they will be able to narrow them easily. Widening, yes, but narrowing, would be much harder to do, since your cutting out transition material from them.
