Default GREG WELDS for sale cheap at summit right now. Going bankrupt?

So another forum I am on had talk of greg weld going bankrupt, and someone else says summit is just selling em cheap cause they are dropping the line as they cant fill orders fast enough. Anyone know what the deal is?

All I know for sure is I just picked up 2 front 15X3.5's for under $200!

Fronts clear with no grinding from what I have read. Problem is the matching rears flat out will not fit with rear LS1 calipers (even though they were advertised as clearing originally). You can go down to LT1 calipers or go to small drag race rear brakes to make the matching wheels fit.

The prostars for the rear arent too far off and you should be able to find a set for not too bad of a price.

Good info and pics in this thread.

Oh and yes the summit ones are polished.

Yeah, I ordered some Monday for $150.95 each and got them yesterday. Just call Summit and they try to BS me, telling me that the sale doesn't start until next month. But with a little HELL RAISING ,I got them to refund me $102.90, tried to give me a gift card first. If you want them better get them now. I also ordered some Prostars, they match pretty good. Prostars are abit more polished.

Damn I didn't even see this thread but have been thinking about them going under all week. I just went on Summit earlier this morning and noticed that they're $50 cheaper than they were the last time I checked. Ordered a set this morning!

What size lug nuts do you order with these? I noticed they have the oval shaped lug holes and you have to get thier nuts for them to fit properly, which size do you get?

I heard somewhere a while back they're around 10 or 11 lbs per wheel for the fronts (about like a 15x3.5 prostar)

Sucks, but you have to run them, theyre designed to be used with the wheels. Look at it this way, youre savin a ton on a limited edition wheel that wont be around any longer and the price will only go up on them because of folks wanting something that will clear stock brakes.

Hell yeah dude, been thinkin about sellin my car, but had to pick up a set just in case I keep or want some for a future project! LOL! Thats a great price, cheaper than the summit star rears that some have used to 'match em' with. Don't forget the lugs though!

Yeah, I saw that (4 PK) BS and was a little annoyed too. Oh well, I'll have spares.
