Default Cray Wheels

I am getting these rims for my 02 SOM SS but I am unsure about tire sizes and if I have to modify anything to make them fit.

A sales guy told me this combo will work:

18x9 front wheel, 275 35 front tire
18x10.5 rear wheel, 295 35 rear tire
$2130 mounted/balanced shipped to my door (BF Goodrich tires)

Spacer would be needed for the rear obviously, but would any modifications other than that be needed? I am new to this and yes I read the sticky but it does not clarify this for me.

Thanks for any and all help

it depends on the offsets but maybe you won't need spacer and just a BFH...

Nice wheels, they will looks very good in your car.

The offset is 60mm for the rear so spacers I definitely need.

I might sound ignorant but what is involved in a BFH?

Big F-ing hammer. Used to bang on the wheel wells wherever the tire are hitting.

the offset is either 60 or 65mm, I was thinkin cray wheels were all 65mm in the 10.5",
It is a better idea always to try purchase rims that have the correct offset rather than use spacers, there is a bundle of info in this section highlighted in the yellow columns in regards to what fits what in rims, offsets, tire sizes.

The offset on the 10.5" wide wheels is +65mm, so a set of H&R 20mm hub spacers would be perfect, that would give you a +45 offset!

No other mods needed for the 18 x 9s, or 18 x 10.5s

FYI, you can also put 315/30/18s on the 10.5s.

Thanks for all the help. So spacers is all I will need for the rears.

What would be the recommended tire size for the fronts & rears?

A small spacer will help the rears with that offset. FYI - you can get them from Discount Tire Direct $50 off and free shipping if you order online.

Does anybody know with the spacers if these will stick out in the rear like a redneck? Thats something I definitely dont want.

Would prefer them to be nicely tucked away...
