1/2 " spacers what studs
I am going to run a 1/2" spacer on the rear of my car with C6 rims. I was told I will need longer studs. Are the 2.5" the right size to go with? I dont know what the stock length is and I dont want to get them too long and have to run open ended lug nuts.
Thanks
Thanks

1/2" is too big for a spacer (I think max is 5/16 or 3/8)!
It puts too much leverage on the studs (they may break).
An ADAPTER is totally fine but anything less than 1.25" will not clear stock studs (which is what everyone is using to mount OEM C6 wheels in the rear).

Come on guys. I know that there are people running 1/2" spacers. What studs did you go with. 2.5" or 3.25" ARP's.
BTW, I am not running OEM. My offsets are +56mm. They fit fine but Im doing this for preference. Wheels just tuck in to far with that offset.
