Default Deep dish ZR1's w/ MT 295/45 *pics

Finally recv'd my MT 295/45/17 Drag Radial II's and had them mounted
on my new 17x11 ZR1's (got 'em on eBay)

Like most I prefer the look of a wider tire but 315/35's are just not
tall enough for my application so I opted for the 295's.

Only modification was removed the bump stops/brackets and centered the wheel w/ double adj LCA's.
Also used BFH for minor tweak on inner front fender

Can I get away with just removing the bump stops if i want to run 17X11's? How much heavier are the 17x11 than the 17x9? I am currently running 17x9 with a 315/35/R17...

FYI
The wheels weigh 27.6lbs each and the tires weigh 32lbs each
I'm still running OEM 17x9 ZR1's on the front

Is your car lowered? I have these tires mounted on 17x11s also but just haven't got them on the car yet. I'm wondering if I could get away with installing a pair of 1.25" bmr springs.

Cool thanks for the feedback. So are the lips on your fender wells rolled and have you ever had a 28" ET drag on the car. I'm asking because my track tires are 28" ET drags. Also, what springs are you running?

The lips are not rolled and have no clearance issues with the 295's however my 275/60/15's will rub
on a big enough bump/full tank of gas. QA1 springs 300# fronts, 170#'s in the rear (have Spohn rear coil over kit)

You will need the fenders rolled to clear a 28" tire with lowering springs.. atleast I do

It looks like those tuck up into the wheel well just fine. They don't look like they are much closer than my 285/40 - 17's.

Just to clear it up, I'm reffering to some 28" Hoosiers I have. The 295/45 MT's do not need the fenders rolled. They only required a little BFH and an adjustable panhard bar
