z06 wheel price opinion I can get a set of GM corvette c5 Z06 wheels off a Z06 they are chrome with no tires he wants 650 for them... is that a good deal or not...

not a good deal. You can pick up brand new 18x9.5s in chrome on ebay for under $700 (especially if you use the current 11% live.com discount). Plus 18s all the way around look way better than the 17/18 combo. If it were me, I wouldn't pay more than $500 (absolute max, with a good deal being 400-450) and I'd make him clean up the rims.

I hate the "if its on ebay, its crap" saying. There are some sponsors on this forum that sell stuff on ebay. Tomzwheels sold wheels on ebay and a bunch of people are running rims and tires from him, and are very happy. I highly doubt the rims are going to fall apart on you. And don't do the 17/18 combo because you have to keep the tire height the same so your ABS doesn't go crazy which means you will have more side wall in the front than you do on the back which looks weird.
