Default Skinnys?

Does any one make 17" skinnys that are radials?

It seems that all that I've seen are bias ply.

Thanks.

Yes. I'm using Hoosier 26x7.5-17 Radial tires on 17x4 Weld Alumastars.

M&H tire is a bias ply tire though, he is looking for a radial.

The one shown in the first link is a radial, not sure if you looked at it.

This is their bias ply, they have both.

Very cool. How much did it cost you to have them narrowed?

I checked with a local shop and they quoted $250 each - seems a bit much.

I had them narrowed by http://www.vikingwheel.com/ , $400.00 for both shipped. They use a cnc machine to cut and fit the rims and balance them to.

I like the idea of a 17" skinny, but my concern is this, I plan on lifting the wheels a good amount. As were the 15" rim gives around 5.5" of tire cushion on the way down, the 17's" would be taking away from this about 1". Is this a concern ?

Are you serious? It makes all sorts of sence. You go a lot faster. Wheel weight is more importaint than any weight. Each static pound is three pounds when converted to rotating mass.
