Default prostar/draglite with 6.5 backspacing help!!!

looking at buying a set of prostars 15x10 with 6.5 backspacing im just afraid they will hang out of the wheel well does anyone have any pics of what they look like i dont want to buy them and then they hang out of the fender or rub real bad....i have a panhard so i can adjust the wheel any pics will be greatly appreciated thanks

They will A) Hang out quite far, giving it a cool trailer park look, and B) will stick out just far enough to tear into the tire with your rear quarter every time you hit a bump, or launch hard, which could result in a high speed blow out. Get the rims that fit correctly.

Running a 26" tall tire you should be fine. My buddy ran a 15x10 with 6.5" BS on his wifes camaro and it rubbed with a 28x13.50R15 ET Drag but no where near the drama that some people make it out to be.

On a Z you aren't going to have as much room as a Firebird/TA but as long as you don't go with a tall tire you will be fine.

i tried a 16x8 with 4.5 b/s and it hung out pretty bad i dont want the tire out past the fender well i think it looks good tucked in there and the wheels i tried on it would have rubbed like hell when i launched the car the tire hung out close to 3/4 inch

a 15x10 with 6.5BS wont stick out that far

Default 15x10 Prostars

With an 01 Z28 I would recommend a 15x10 with a 7.5 back space. This would allow you to run a 26x11.50-15 tire. Part # 96-510284
