offsets for c5 brakes

Default offsets for c5 brakes

i tried searching to no avail...

does anyone know the minimum offset required to clear the c5 brakes up front?

you dont need any special offset for C5s. any factory or factory style 17in rim will fit with no problem. certain aftermarket 17s wont fit. they can be found on ws6store's website.

if youre getting some kind of aftermarket rims, then the typical 36mm/pontiac or 50mm/chevy offset is all thats needed.

I had to put in a 3mm spacer when I installed my "13 brakes with stock callipers+ i had to grinde of 1-2mm of the atcual calliper. I have 9,5 OEM GM ZR1 wheels.

My stock SS 10 spokes 9" wide, 56 mm fit over my C5 brake set up . . .

One of the LARGEST concerns would be the spokes of the wheel cannot curve inwards too much or they will fit the caliper.

My 9.5" wide Fikses have a 38 mm offset.
