Some pics of my BFH mod for Y2k's
I snapped 2 quik pics of the driverside wheel well after I SFH'd the wheel well... It wasnt bad at all.. I am running stock Y2K vette wheels with stock tire sizes. They dont rub at all now.. The 17's in the front look a little close to the A arms.. I want to put 2 18's on the front with 275 40 18's on the front as well. Will those fit without spacers and what not?? I will get more pics of the wheels tonight when I get home. I dont have pics of the wheels on the car yet since it is dark out now and all I have is my Camera phone.. I just wanted to post some pics of what I had to do to make the wheels fit without spacers.. I really couldn't find anything when I did a search so I hope this will help others decide on wheels..

Damn....! Should of used a bigger hammer bro...looks like you went to town with a carpenter hammer. LOL.
What size tires are you running in the back? Also whats your offsets?
Just FYI....i was able to fit a 18x10.5 in the front with a 58mm offset. Didnt hit the spindle, it has a 5/16" left....not a whole lot.
I still havent mounted tires, but it looks promising. I know there is another member running 18x10.5 in the front with a 56mm offset. He is said to be running 305/35s if I remember correctly.
So you should be ok....just dont go to wide on the tire.
I still havent done the BFH on the rear wells, I did have to grind down the bump stop rear screw a bit to clear when the suspension is fully unloaded on the given side. I'm guessing you wont need to since you probably have less than 58mm offset.

The tires are 275 40 18 in the back and 245 45 17 in the front. I like the 17-18 look but the fronts look tucked. I really dont want to put a spacer or adapter on them. I found another 17-18 y2k set for 200.00 that I am going to pick up this weekend and hopefully mount some 275 40 18 on the front.. Also my car is stock height. 17x 8.5 and 18 x 9.5 Are the size of the rims..
I drove around for about 2 hours and no abs lights came on and everything felt normal with the stock Corvette size tires on it.. I did about 70mph and got on it pretty good from a stop with and without Traction control.

I dont see why you even had to do this honestly, I ran a stock polished set 17front/18rear without any spacer & no running at all. My car is at stock ride height & I was running stock tire sizes as well. The only time I'd get a tiny bit of rub would be if I hit this corner by my house doin about 50mph otherwise it was never a issue & my bumpstops are not trimmed back either.
