Default 02 Z28 wheels for 95 Z28

A freind of mine purchased a set of 2002 chrome Z28 wheels the other day, for his 95 Z28. He called me up and told me that they don't fit. I think he's crazy. Could this be true and why?
Two of the wheels have tires mounted 275/50-16.
Thanks you.

The 93-96 cars had slightly larger rear hubs than the 97-02's. When you buy most aftermarket wheels, you have to grind the inner hub on the wheel in order for them to fit the rear of the car. There is a link somewhere
