Default 275/40-17

Bought me a set of 275/40-17 BFG Drag Radials. Now I have about a 4000 stall, factory 3:23 gears and a couple of bolt ons. I cant seem to hook these b1tch3s up. Now I have these tires down at 15psi and with about a 5sec burnout, I still light them up. What is my problem?

Any suspension mods? Are you launching at a certain RPM or flashing from idle or what?

You probably have too much stall and not enough sidewall in this situation. You may just have to feather it out of the hole till the tires bite then hold it. Throw down some VHT(trackbite) on the street.

Leave on the rev up. No use in that much stall with a puny sidewall. And hey, light them up for a bit, BFG's tend to do a little better with a decent burnout. IME
