hey all,

I have the stock 16" wheels which are goodyear HR 245/50/R16. Im not too savy when it comes to tire tech, so please help me. I would like to run a wider tire something around 275 if possible. The only thing is when looking at tires at tirerack, if I search by size i can't get anything bigger than a 245 for the 16 wheel. for the 16" wheel can I run anything bigger than a 245? If so please point me in the right direction of finding one. Thanks

Edit: Wanted to add that this is my DD so I don't want slicks or radials, something that can drive in the rain....

the widest i would go on a stock 16" rim is 255

goodyears are good but expensive

It's not going to be easy to find anything bigger than a 245 for a 16 inch wheel. Need to move up to a 17+ to go wider.

the only 2 options you have for this wheel are 235/55/16 or 245/50/16. as stated step up to 17s or 18s to run wider

Alright thanks for the input guys. I am thinking about the Goodyear f1 G3s with the 245/50/16.

Side note, are the ws6 wheels that look like mine 17"? Might be able to buy a used set because I really like the wheels I have now.
