Question How to run different size tires in the back

Anyone know a simple way to disconnect the ABS so I can run different size tires in the back? Last time I ran 295s in the rear and like 225s in the front and the ABS INOP light and my BRAKE light came on once I hit like 55mph. When I hit my brakes my car darn near bounced off the road from vibrations and it ended up warping my front rotors. I like the way it looks with nice wide tires in the back so any1 know how to do it without spending loads of money?

It doesn't have to do with tired width. It's tire height thatcauses issues. So if you have a 18 wheel in the back and 17 in he front you want to run a 35 tire in the back and a 40 in the front

yea, like twitch said, it has nothing to do with the wheel width, but the height. i had 295/45/17s (27.2 tall) on my car with 275/40/17s (25.6 tall) up front. the ABS light and TCS light went on because the rear tire was too tall, and the sensors couldn't figure it out. Width doesn't matter. I have 165/80/15s up front now with 275/50/15s out back with zero issues because they are both roughly around 26 inches tall

u can get ur car's pcm calibrated for the correct size, but u need something like a hypertech or diablosport (which IMO aren't worth the money). u can have ur dynotuner fix it with HPTuners I believe

I run stock height up front (275/35/18s) and 1" over stock height in the rear (275/40/18s)
I've never had the abs light come on, but I have my tire height set for a little over 26".

I have a 99 WS6 TA, will a 295/45R17 work on the rear wheels without any rubbing issues?

Why not just get the right sized tires on the front or rear? If you want to run a 295, just run a 40 series tire.
