Default Will the M/T ET Street work ok for me?

Hey guys I have the opportunity to purchase some 26x10.5x16 M/T ET Streets mounted on Firebird wheels. They are Bias-ply and I would put them on my car at the track and use for the drag strip only. Just wondering if they are a good tire choice for my car and not overkill. The car is an Auto with a 4000 Stall and stock 10 bolt BTW. I use to own the ET Street Radials and they were amazing these just seem to me that they would grip even better at the track but I dont know awhole lot about them.

should work great as long as they aren't too worn. They are basically slicks

I am sure they will hook killer at the track, just take a bucket to bring all the pieces of your 10 bolt home with when it pops. I have been running regular ET street radials around for about a month now with just a few trips out and already toasted the passenger side axle bearing and got a little bit of pinion whine I didn't have before.
