Default Need Help Finding a Thread (FM5 Refinish Black Camaro)

Searched with no luck, but i'm looking for the thread where a member bought a rough set of Fikse FM5's, took them apart, repolished the lip, and painted the centers black. It's been probably two years since it was posted. He had a very good write-up on what he used and plenty of pics. My full polished FM5's are in rough shape right now and are in need of a very good cleaning.

No problem man. I just used the same compound and achieved excellent results. I have pics in the thread below. I did use a different buff wheel but that is only because I was already in Sears one day and just bought some of the ones they had there.
