i hate knowing I got a sub-par product to the point you wont even carry them, but it is what it is.
It mostly the acids in the soap. Automatic car washes you harsh soap with lots of acid in it to try and get the car clean. Just use a mild soap like Meguires or something like that.

Stock 2001 Trans Am WS6 -- No suspension mods, factory ride height.
Was looking at the Chrome C6 Z06 set 18x9.5 all the way around. The website states the offset is 56mm.
275/35R18 Tires

Thanks in advance!
That fitment would work perfect so long as the car is stock. If you lower it in the future they may not fit.

Good deal. I never use an automatic car wash on any vehicle esp the convertible.

Looking into a set of C7Z06 wheels 18 x 8.5 in gunmetal finish for a 98 Trans Am that's all stock.

Is there any potential fitment issues, what size tires are recommended and do they come as a package?

Thanks!

There would be no fitment issues as long as the car is stock. The recommended tire size is a 235/45-18 and we can do a wheel and tire package if you prefer. Please contact our sales dept for quotes on wheel and tire packages.

My 245 45 18 look skinny on my 8.5 wheels. I have no fitment issues at all though with stock suspension.

Once I do some more research and lock in what I'm after I will definitely be in touch.

That's what I'm afraid of.....so I guess at this point my question is those same wheels come in a 17/18 staggered package...the rears are 18 x 10.5....what size tire runs with that and will there be fitment issues?

The 18 x 10.5 should solve the skinny problem right? Lol

no... you need a wider tire not wheel. I think the 245 tire is not wide enough for an 8.5, so a 235 would be even worse
