Default What ideal PSI to run on new tires?

I recently got some new wheels and tires from OE wheels, the tires are 265/40/17 in front and 295/35/18 in back. They came with 37 psi in them. This seems a little steep to me, but I really don't know what would be ideal to run without them wearing incorrectly. What do you guys reccomend and these are street tires on a DD.

If this is on the Camaro the recommended cold pressure is 30psi front and rear. I have run anywhere from 28-32 cold for the street... If you want a little crisper turn-in try 32 front, and a little more straight traction do 28 rear. I am currently running 30 all the way around.
