Will 18x10.5 fit on my camaro?
I called a wheel shop today and they told me that the c5 z06 18x10.5 rims might not fit on my camaro and that the widest tire i could go with was a 285 or it would rub the fender. But I have seen a lot of ppl on here with 18x10.5 rims on here and running 315. Did you guys have to do anything or did they bolt right on no probs?

i have 18 by 10.5 on my bird and i have no rubbing but i have a 5/16" spacer and longer ARP studs with 285/35/18 Nittos. i could probably do 295-305 but it would be tight. looks great, nice and flush with the wheel well and alittle bit of big tire out back.

if you remove your bumpstops you'll have no issue running a 315 without a spacer other then some minor wheel well massaging. i need my bumpstops since i have Koni's and its not worth it to take them off since it'll void my warranty on the shocks if i bottom them out without the stops.

i ran a 295 on my trans am without touching a thing...
on the trans am you can run a 305 without worrying.... 315 you need to roll the fender just to be safe.. not sure if you need to bang the fender wall in or not..
you will need LCAs..
on the camaro you will need to roll with anything 305 or wider.. with a 315 i know you will need to bang the fender in.. not sure on smaller sizes..
also will need LCAs..
hope that helps..
ALSO for future reference, most home town shops dont know what the **** they are talking about.. talk to Lance or someone at OE wheels.. he will steer you right if your looking for stock replicas..

From research the Trans am's have a slightly bigger rear wheel are due to the fenders. I just sold a set of 18x10.5 wheels and tried to put them on the rear of my 02 camaro and they actual bump stomp mount was hitting the wheel. I tried removing the bump stop and it was still hitting the bump stop mout/housing. With some BFH mods they will fit.
The wheels had a 295/35/18 and looked like they would clear the fenders with just a tad bit of room to spare, if they cleared the stops!

I fit my 18x10.5 C5 deep dishes, with 335/30 Nitto DR's, on my Camaro with minimal problems. A little BFH'ing, and slight fender rolling was all it took. I didn't run any spacer, or have to remove the bumpstop. I put the wheels on my T/A earlier, and had a little harder time than with the Camaro. I had to run a 5/16" spacer, and do a little BFH'ing to get them to fit. Still kept the bumpstops though.

I'm running 18x10.5 oem zo6 wheels 58mm offset.
will need to run a spacer if you run them hard.
With a 295/30s the front clear no rub, but under track conditions it will rub the upper control arm ball joint stud. a 5/16" spacer should solve it.
the rear run a 305/35 and it clears, but under track conditions it will run the LCAs and the inner fender wells, again 5/16" spacer will help but I dont know that it will completely solve it. It would be tolerable.....
305 and or 315s up front might need at least a 3/8" spacer. but now you need longer studs too.

the wheels for sale in my sig are 18x10.5 (285/40/18) int he rear and they fit great. The offset was perfect so i didnt have to use spacers or anything. Just took out the BFH to beat in one spot on the inner fender that rubbed on cornering. good luck

18x10.5 here with a 295 out back. Had to use the BFH on one spot toward the bottom of the wheel well. It would rub taking a turn fast on stock suspension. and yeah grinding of the bump was needed if the car gets put on a lift. When the suspension is unloaded all the way. Pretty easy mods to make them work..IMO

I don't really believe that, after putting the same exact wheel/tire combo on both my Camaro, and T/A. I was able to fit the 335's under the back of the Camaro with a little BFH'ing, and some fender rolling. I had to BFH the T/A, put a 5/16" spacer on it, and I'm probably going to have to roll the fenders sometime soon. No problems yet though.
