Default 275/40-17 on an 8" rim?

I need to know if these will be ok to run?
and what price would any of you pay for sumitomos with 70-80% tread left. 4-5 year old tires, look to be in good shape from pics.

Wow. No. Read that tire sticky at the top of the screen. Your max on an 8" is a 245.

Nope 9" minimum . . .

A 245/45R17 would be the best fitting tire for that wheel.
